Limerick is Ireland's third largest city in the Republic and it's fourth largest on the island of Ireland. Limerick, despite it's size has a rather small Scene. There is no gay sauna in fact and no accommodation that specifically markets itself to gays and lesbians although there are gay friendly establishments. Nevertheless what is available is well attended and Limerick, on the banks of Ireland's most famous waterway, The Shannon is a city definitely worth visiting.
